Al-Quds index declined at today session’s open by 0.30% or 1.57 points to 516.24 points compared with last week’s closing at 517.81 points.

The General index decreased by 0.34% losing 0.93 point to 273.46 points compared with the last session’s closing at 517.81 points.

Total of 115.7 thousand shares were traded through 39 transactions at a turnover of $251.9 thousand. 12 companies participated in trading, 3 rose, 5 declined and 4 remained unchanged.

The top three gainers were Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 2.31%, Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications which increased by 1.28% and Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Co which soared by 0.64%.

The top three losers were Palestine Investment Bank which declined by 5%, National Aluminum and Profile Co which decreased by 1.37% and Palestine Development and Investment which plunged by 1.27%.

It should be noted that Al-Quds index ended the last session rising by 0.21% or 1.06 point and closed at 517.81 points boosted by the increase of services sector by 0.53%.

The General index rose by 0.20% gaining 0.54 point to 274.39 points.
